Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup chai tea concentrate
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Whipped cream and cinnamon stick (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Brew the chai concentrate: Heat 1/2 cup of chai tea concentrate in a saucepan or microwave until warm.
  • Heat the milk: In a separate saucepan, gently heat 1/2 cup of milk (or non-dairy alternative) until hot but not boiling. Froth the milk for a creamy texture, if desired.
  • Mix in bourbon and sweetener: Pour the warm chai concentrate into a mug, stir in 1 oz of bourbon and 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
  • Combine with milk: Add the heated milk to the chai mixture, stirring to combine.
  • Garnish and serve: Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick for garnish, if desired.
